New in HOLOPLOT Plan 2.4 🚀

This release focuses on advanced system configuration and alignment workflows, developed to support complex, real-world deployments and large-scale venue installations. It introduces major improvements to Function Groups, downmix routing, and .holoplot file interoperability, alongside simulation, optimisation, and workflow enhancements.

What’s new and improved?

Function Groups

Function Groups are now fully supported in Plan 2.4, enabling more structured and scalable system design.

• Create and edit Function Groups

• Move beams between Function Groups

• Apply EQ at the Function Group level

This enables higher-level control and consistency across complex systems.

Delay Downmix Matrix

The Delay DownMix Matrix has been introduced and is now available per layer.

New capabilities include:

• Establish routing connections per layer

• Edit crosspoint gain and delay values

• Copy & paste routing

• Sorting

• Bulk connect and disconnect operations

Additional workflow improvements:

• Gains and delays can be pulled from or pushed to beam-level values

• Simulation now updates dynamically in response to downmix changes

Known issues

• If an optimisation job returns an error due to “Job not found”, retrying may fail

  • Workaround: cancel the job and restart the optimisation

• Downmix connections are not preserved when copying or duplicating a layer
