New in HOLOPLOT Plan 2.3 ✨
HOLOPLOT Plan 2.3 is now available on the HOLOPLOT Hub and ready to use for system design and simulation.
This release marks a significant expansion of Plan’s system design capabilities, introducing Third-Party Speakers and Processors, Acoustic Screen Compensation, and System Designer EQ. Together, these features allow projects to be designed and refined in much greater detail before arriving on site.
Important note:
Plan 2.3 is intended for design and simulation only. Integration with live systems via Control will follow in a subsequent release.
What’s new and improved?
Third-party speakers & processors
Plan 2.3 introduces support for third-party speakers and processors, enabling more complete system designs within a single project.
With this update, you can:
Create and configure third-party speakers in Plan
Design and simulate systems using a mix of HOLOPLOT and third-party components
Route third-party speakers through HOLOPLOT Processors
This significantly broadens the range of systems that can be designed and evaluated directly in Plan.
Acoustic screen compensation
For the first time, HOLOPLOT Plan can accurately simulate arrays placed behind acoustic screens.
Simulate the acoustic impact of screens on array performance
Generate beams with screen-aware optimisations
Achieve more realistic simulation results for screened installations
System Designer EQ
New beam-level EQ tools allow finer tuning directly within Plan.
IFIR-based EQ per beam
Improve tonal balance and system response during the design phase
Bring projects closer to show-ready before stepping on site
Other highlights
Plan 2.3 also includes several workflow and performance improvements:
Editable threshold values in Zone Statistics
Option to hide simulations on boundary zones for faster simulation times
Faster navigation with new viewport context menus
Linux platform support
Known limitations
This release is not yet intended for use with Control or live systems
Live system integration will follow in a future update
