# HOLOPLOT OS 2.1.0

We’re excited to announce the release of HOLOPLOT OS 2.1.0. This release delivers a reimagined approach to health monitoring with a focus on providing a better experience with large-scale systems, along with performance improvements, UX enhancements, and important bug fixes. In addition, this release brings new X2-related functionalities.

### What is New?

* **Reimagined System Health Monitoring**
  * **Refreshed Device List:** Aggregates network and hardware statuses for clearer diagnostics.
  * **Improved Controller’s Health**: Enhanced transparency of Controller network interfaces, and additional hardware information.
  * **Additional Event Types**: Improved categorization of system events from Modules and Controllers.
* **System Settings**
  * **Network Redundancy Options:** Configure systems with or without network redundancy for health tracking.
  * **Always-On LED Mode:** User-toggleable setting to make Audio Module LEDs illuminated for easier commissioning and debugging.
* **Audio Input Metering**: Monitor peak levels for all incoming audio inputs.
* **Public System API - New Endpoints:** Device status, stream monitoring, analog operations, and preset information.
* **Analog Mode for X2 Modules**
  * **Override Mode**: Automatically switches to analog operation when signals exceed a user-defined threshold.
  * **Failover Mode**: Maintains seamless operation by switching to analog in the event of network issues.
* **Ravenna Stream Monitoring & Failover**
  * **RTP and Pilot Tone Monitoring:** Ensures real-time packet integrity checks and seamless switching to a backup stream or secondary stream if issues arise or user-defined Pilot Tone is lost.
  * **Important note for Sphere:** Ravenna Stream Monitoring and Failover won’t replace or impact the integration with LAWO Home.

### Changed

* **Streamlined Navigation:** Clearer submenus and consistent naming conventions throughout the interface.
* **Pairing & Routing Mechanics:** Simplified module pairing steps and routing updates to reduce complexity.
* **Public System API**: Additional Health states reporting in Module, System, and Array endpoints that match the Health UI in HOLOPLOT Control. See Annex A.
* **Improved LED reporting**: Changed the behavior of the Module’s LEDs: Left LEDs for Health; and right LEDs for Power.
* **Batch Operations**: Sleep, reboot, or run driver tests on multiple devices at once.
* **Enhanced Navigation**: Search presets, see project names in the navigation bar, and view system names in the footer.

### Fixed / Improved

**HOLOPLOT Control**

* Resolved health reporting inconsistencies in setups with multiple redundant Controller Clusters.
* Corrected misbehavior in projects that shared arrays or modules.
* Addressed bugs related to exporting projects with special characters in their filenames.
* Improved visualization for Audio Modules on dark backgrounds in 3D viewport.
* Refined UI to manage complex system configurations more smoothly.
* General performance enhancements for faster responsiveness in the browser.

**Audio Modules**

* A newer version of Go is used to address a runtime bug that in very rare cases caused random rebooting of a module.
* Fixed the rare cases, that modules that weren’t connected during a system configuration load do not automatically receive their configuration when being connected eventually.
