New in HOLOPLOT Plan 2.2 🚀
We’re excited to announce the release of HOLOPLOT Plan 2.2, now available on the HOLOPLOT Hub.
This update introduces manual gain and delay alignment workflows powered by a new Delay Spread simulation mode, alongside a major upgrade to the project file architecture and a refreshed user interface built on Design System 2.0. Together, these improvements make Plan faster, clearer, and more powerful for complex system design.
What’s new and improved?
New project file architecture
Plan project files (.orb) now use a SQLite-based format, replacing the previous ZIP-based structure.
This upgrade delivers significant performance and reliability improvements:
Up to 100× faster project saving and loading
Improved stability and reduced risk of file corruption
Existing .orb files are converted automatically — no action required
Delay Spread simulation
A new Delay Spread simulation mode is now available, giving deeper insight into time alignment across your system.
Visualise delay spread across probe points
Manually delay-align beams with greater confidence
Better understand arrival time relationships in complex systems
Simulation mode controls
New simulation controls make it easy to select and switch between simulation modes, streamlining analysis workflows and reducing friction when moving between different design tasks.
Updated interface — Design System 2.0
Plan 2.2 introduces a refreshed interface built on Design System 2.0, improving clarity and consistency across the application.
Updates include:
New colour tokens
Standardised spacing and layout
Updated typography
Refined iconography
The result is a cleaner, more modern, and more consistent user experience throughout Plan.

Head to the HOLOPLOT Hub downloads section
Create an account, or log in if you already have one
Navigate to the HOLOPLOT Plan section to download the latest version for Mac (ARM & Intel) or Windows
