Exciting new features in HOLOPLOT Plan!
We’re thrilled to bring you the latest build of HOLOPLOT Plan, v2.0.3, now available on the HOLOPLOT Hub! Here are the new features and improvements we've been working on.
What’s new and improved?
Zone drawing precision
Create zones with more accuracy by entering exact line lengths directly into the Properties Panel while drawing. This gives you greater control and precision when building your venue.
Rigging spacing made easy
You can now mark arrays as rigged using a simple toggle in the Array Builder, streamlining your workflow when working on array creation.
Adjustable zone resolution for simulation
Need faster simulations? Now, you can choose between Low, Medium, and High resolution for simulations in the Simulation Controls, allowing you to balance speed with detail according to your project’s needs.
Enhanced EASE XLD export
When exporting to EASE, an XLD file will now be generated for each preset, maintaining the tuning and exact location. This ensures seamless integration into your EASE workflow with full precision.
Camera views for better navigation
Navigate your project and create screenshots easily by using new camera view options: top, side, front, back, left, and right. Simply click “Camera” in the top menu bar to use the new controls.
Introducing the 'Componentizer' script for SketchUp
We’re excited to share a powerful new tool available on The Hub: the Componentizer! Using the Ruby Code Editor in SketchUp, this script enables you to split large, curved zones—like balconies—into smaller, flat pieces that can be effortlessly imported into HOLOPLOT Plan. It’s perfect for handling complex venue designs with non-flat surfaces.
How it works:
Split Zones for Easy Import: Create zones in SketchUp, convert them into a component, then run the Ruby script to divide them into manageable, flat pieces.
Important Tip: Avoid using this tool on built arrays, as it may disrupt their structure.

How to get access
Upgrade to the latest version now and to unlock improved sound system design possibilities.
To access the latest version:
Head to the HOLOPLOT Hub downloads section.
Create an account, or log in if you already have one.
Go to the HOLOPLOT Plan section, where you'll find the links to download the latest version of Plan 2.0.3 for both Mac (ARM and Intel builds available) and Windows.
