HOLOPLOT Plan Beta Release v0.12.1

Introducing new simulation controls!

Analyzing system performance and creating great designs just got easier! Since the rollout of HOLOPLOT Plan Beta in December 2022, we've listened to the feedback from our Early Access Program participants and are thrilled to announce a brand new release of HOLOPLOT Plan Beta with some exciting new features.

With the latest release, more ways to analyse system performance are now available in the "simulate" tab under the "bandwidth" dropdown

• dB(A) and dB(C): You can now view different broadband SPL weightings in the simulation heatmap

• 1/6, 1/3, and 1/1 octave bands: Enjoy additional bandwidth options to choose from

Unoptimize and duplicate beams & more

Alongside additional bandwidths in the simulation, the HOLOPLOT engineering team have also made editing beams easier, speeding up your workflow and enabling faster editing of your designs.

• Unoptimize beams: unoptimize beams with a long press and hold of the "unoptimize" button

• Duplicate beams: within the same array, beams can now be duplicated by right-clicking and selecting "duplicate"

• Create New Empty Projects: head to "File" > "Create New" for a clean slate for designing your next HOLOPLOT sound experience

• User Interface Improvements: We've also enhanced our software's overall look and feel, making it even more intuitive and enjoyable

But that’s not all…

In addition to exciting integration upgrades across the board, we tackled several bugs, including support for non-ASCII characters, and several other improvements to ensure that HOLOPLOT Plan v0.12.1 is the most stable and reliable version yet.

What are you waiting for?

To access the latest version, log into the HOLOPLOT Hub at the bottom of the HOLOPLOT homepage and head to the downloads section, where you'll find the Mac and Windows installer links for the latest version.

We made a slight change to the name of the application for this release from "Plan" to "HOLOPLOT Plan". When installing, please do the following:

• Windows: accept default settings during the installation/uninstallation process

• Mac: First, remove the old version (titled "Plan") from your applications folder to avoid having two versions of the application installed. After that, install the new version (titled "HOLOPLOT Plan").
