Markdown versions of documentation pages are available by appending `.md` to page URLs; this page is available as [Markdown](https://releases.holoplot.com/october-2026/holoplot-plan-2.6.4.md). # HOLOPLOT Plan 2.6.4 This release adds gizmos for moving and rotating entities, a line-of-sight preview in the viewport, and support for importing custom acoustic screens and target curves. *** ### What's New #### Gizmos * **Translate and Rotate:** Move and rotate the selected entity directly in the viewport using gizmos * **Viewport Mode Shortcuts:** New keyboard shortcuts for selection, translation and rotation, zone creation, probe placement, and array and module group creation #### Line-of-Sight Preview * **Preview in the Viewport:** Preview line of sight directly in the viewport, including for boundary zones. The current selection can be previewed, and the obstruction colour is explained next to the colour bar * **Faster Calculation:** Line-of-sight obstruction and the line-of-sight viewing mode are now quicker and use less memory #### Import Acoustic Screens and Target Curves * **Custom Acoustic Screens:** Use File > Import Acoustic Screens to load your own screens from your user folder * **Custom Target Curves:** Use File > Import Target Curves to load your own target curves from your user folder * **Saved with the Project:** Imported screens and target curves are stored in the project, so you can build a target curve once and it stays with the project #### Simulation * **Segmented Colour Maps:** Segmented colour maps are now available in the simulation * **Transparent Entities:** Hidden boundary zones are rendered as transparent when simulating with Acoustic Shadowing on. Hold Alt/Option to select entities behind transparent ones #### Workflow * **Preset Status:** A new preset status dialog shows a categorised readiness report, and the Presets toolbar button indicates when a preset is not ready * **Copy and Paste Zone Parameters:** Copy zone parameters and paste them onto other zones * **Show in Library:** Highlight an entity in the Library directly from the project * **Probe Placement:** Probe placement is now more intuitive and faster, as it is separated from the Spectrum panel #### Other Improvements * **Faster Projects:** Faster project loading, and faster equalizer response and driver headroom updates * **Responsive Toolbar:** The toolbar adapts better to small screens, grouping items into buckets * **Typography:** Bold text now uses a semibold font *** ### Bug Fixes * Fixed bulk rename for layer arrays * Fixed the Rename panel not showing when Rename is triggered from the viewport * Fixed Delete not being enabled in Array and Zone context menus on any Library tab * Fixed target curve lists not refreshing when curves change **Feedback & support** As always, we welcome your feedback.
